Day 18 27 August

After a breakfast of scrambled eggs and iced  coffee we headed off by bus to Siem Reap, about 5hrs.

After arriving I had a late lunch of spring rolls and a mango shake(smoothie) .

Tomorrow we go to Angkor Wat, most of us are going to watch the sunrise. We needed to get our entrance tickets today, the tickets have photographs on the ticket.
The tickets were obtained from the cultural centre. Normally they would have been obtained on the day but some of the tour had decided that they were not going to sunrise, so we all needed to pick up our tickets this afternoon. This took up the remainder of the afternoon.

We will be spending the whole day there, lunch is included.

After returning with tickets in hand and a warning not to lose them I went and had some dinner. An Amoc curry and a jack fruit shake.

A 4am start in the morning.
