I decided that I would breakfast in the hotel.
After breakfast I found the Lattern restaurant which runs a street food tour.
On the way I can accross some interesting street electrical wiring.
I booked in for this afternoon.
This tour is run by the restaurant and is used as a means of training their staff in the variety of local foods.
We had five people on the tour and it took us three hours.
The food included,
Spicy stirred rice paper salad,
Tapioca shrimp dumpling(The whole shrimp including the head ) was eaten,
Seafood pancakes,
Rice noodle soup,
Egg and Rice Cakes, and
Banana and Sticky Rice Pudding smothered in a coconut cream sauce.
We ended back at the restaurant for a beer.
The food was very tasty and filling.
After the street tour I joined the group for dinner unsurprisingly I did not eat.
After the meal we caught a bus to the railway station were we caught an overnight train to Saigon.
I think I only would have eaten the dessert from that one. Obviously you are getting plenty of local food, which is good!
