The weather was overcast, but very little rain.
Along the way we stopped at a place that made garden pots.
Some of the scenery on the way to Halong Bay
We got on the boat to begin our harbour tour.
The low hanging clouds decreased the viewing and the photographing of the scenery.
We had lunch on the boat. It was a smorgasbord of fish and vegetarian shared dishes.
More Halong Bay
After lunch we continued the cruise calling into an island which has a cave called Amazing Cave. Whilst transversing the cave we had to negotiate a climb of 330 Steps.
The cave although large in size did not exhibit as good a display as I had seen in other caves.
After the cave we continued back to the boat ramp, from which we made our way to the hotel.
That night we went to dinner at a local restaurant which served up 6 dishes for each 5 people. Other than the prawns and fried rice they were stir fry combinations of meat and vegetarian. .
Back to the hotel.
