Day 3 12 August

After I had breakfast at the hotel we all got on the bus to go back to Hanoi.

On the way back we stopped at the Hong Ngoc charity centre, a handicap handicraft training centre for landmine disabled people.
They produced some fantastic embroidery of various scenes from both wild and domesticed area.

On arrival back in Hanoi we went for a walk through the old quarter. I had already walked the streets many times before so did not find much new. Did not bother to record what I had seen on 9 August.

We collected our luggage from the hotel and made our way to the train station for a 13 hour overnight trip to Hue.

Each compartment had four beds in two sets of two bunks.
The beds were quite hard and my back and shoulders suffered.
I ended up sharing with 3 women.

We arrived at 8.35am on Saturday
